Our First Day on the Job

Our first work day and we are anxious to get started.  We have a shuttle bus to take us to our Kickoff Meeting.  It feels more like our first day of school than work as we all file on and off the bus with our knapsacks and briefcases.

Time for a quick regroup of Subteam 2 before we meet our client for the first time.

Following our quick introductions of CSC Team members and clients, we join our two TURKONFED representatives for a taxi ride to their offices to get started.  There is much information to take in and lots of questions to ask.   While we talk and write notes, always present is the Turkish tea and coffee.  As one cup is finished another one is presented.  A wonderful lady moves quietly around collecting the cups and offering new ones.  And then for an afternoon treat following lunch we enjoy coffee and a lovely baklava.  Our work day is long with so much information to assimilate but with the coffee, tea and sweets, I am ready to go all night!  #ibmcsc turkey

  1. Ah it was good you have coffee there and Turkish coffee sounds like it would be nice and high octane! In Santa Rosa (Philippines) it was a lot of instant! One of the main things I missed from home was easy access to a good cup of java!
